Hob Nob Hill

Founded in 1944 as the Juniper Cafe, a 14-seat lunch counter. Known for house-baked pies, scratch-made soups, turkey dinners, corned beef hash, and a cinnamon swirl french toast made to an 81-year-old recipe. Owner Tania Warchol ran it for 32 years and sold the restaurant and property for $2.715M in February 2025 to Douglas Hamm of Creative House, who briefly reopened it and then shuttered the concept - after what by many accounts was its highest-grossing year on record. Closed June 30, 2026.
